Just Another Guy, Watching a Movie or Two

This whole blogging thing is new to me, so new that I had no idea what a BLOG was till my cousin actually explained it to me. What makes that so funny is I am a computer technician, and aren’t all computer technicians supposed to know everything and anything about computers?

I think not. I am injured and cannot return to work till I’m healed, so bad is my injury, I can’t stand for long, or sit for long without feeling pain. I am “trapped” at home, so to speak, being trapped I have lots of time to do the things that I want, as long as they’re not too physical. You know like watching TV or playing video games.

So one day I’m channel surfing and decide that whats on TV isn’t worth watching, I have cable where I’m at so I decide to see whats “on Demand”. I check out the free movies, and come across a category called “Festival Films” I of course not being a film critic, or a screenwriter think to myself: These movies wouldn’t make much sense to me. Reluctantly, I chose the category and what I saw shocked me. The tittle of the highlighted, or spotlighted movie was named:

“A Ninja Pays Half My Rent”

I choose it and after all the previews I get to watch the movie. I laughed I cheered, but mostly I understood, the movie was either the work of genius or someone was on serious drugs when they created it. It was superb down to the last moment of the film.

I almost let my preconceived notions deter me from a truly enjoyable experience.

Like I said, I’m new to this blogging thing, I was reluctant to write , but now that I am I see a parallel with that “Festival Film”.

Both are truly enjoyable experiences.
